Transfers Paris Est station
Paris Est train station or 'Gare de l’Est' is one of the oldest in the city, with part of the current building dating from the middle of the 19th century. It was originally built to give a landing point to prepare from Strasbourg and the east of the nation and was initially called 'Strasbourg station'.
Gare de l’Est is one of the six largest termini in Paris. It is in the 10th arrondissement, not far from the Gare du Nord, confronting the Boulevard de Strasbourg, a piece of the north-south pivot of Paris made by Noble Haussmann. It is also one of the biggest and the most established railway stations in Paris, the western end of the Paris–Strasbourg rail route and the Paris–Mulhouse railway.
